I’m Makiko, the designer of KARAKU by me.
Today, I want to share a little bit about our recently released Gingham Daisy Headband 🍒
For this headband, we didn’t use the usual MOKUBA ribbons, nor traditional kimono fabric.
This time, for the very first time at KARAKU by me, we chose a cotton fabric—of course, made in Japan 🇯🇵
I combined my love for gingham checks with my favorite daisies, which I hand-embroidered with beads.
Let me show you some styling ideas with the Gingham Daisy Headband!
With a red gingham dress—this is a classic combination.
With a green gingham dress—this is actually my personal favorite 💚
It surprisingly goes well with patterns other than gingham too!
