I am Japanese and could not speak English, but I recently started studying English.Today, I would like to share with you my reasons for learning English.
#Global Communication
English is widely used as an international common language. It is necessary in various fields such as business, travel, education, and culture. By being able to speak English, I can communicate with people from different countries and cultures and gain a deeper understanding of them.At KARAKU by me, we receive messages from customers all over the world.I want to respond to our customers' needs while having fun communicating with them.
#Understanding Cultures
Learning English deepens the understanding of diverse cultures and histories. One of the great attractions is being able to enjoy works like movies, music, and literature in their original language. Although I still rely on translation apps, I imagine that once I become more proficient in English, I will be able to directly feel the nuances and emotions that translations cannot convey.
#Personal Growth and Confidence
Learning a new language is also a part of personal growth. I once lived in Korea and, through the process of mastering Korean, experienced challenges and a sense of accomplishment, which boosted my confidence. Moreover, having different perspectives has helped me develop flexible thinking. This experience remains a great asset to me even now.
#Conclusion
I believe that studying a foreign language not only helps in acquiring the language itself but also enriches our lives and opens up various opportunities.
