This is MAKIKO, the designer of KARAKU by me.
Our recent POP-UP event in Yokohama has successfully come to an end.
To everyone who stopped by—thank you so much!
This POP-UP was filled with many heartwarming moments.
First of all, I was deeply moved when customers who usually shop online came to meet me in person.
It was such a special feeling to see an online connection turn into a real-life encounter.
I was also very grateful for the many friends who came to show their support.
One of them told me, “They’re even cuter in person than in the photos!”
Hearing those words reminded me of the joy of having people actually hold and try on my pieces.
And most importantly, it was such a delight that new customers—who discovered KARAKU by me for the very first time—chose to take home some of my items.
Thanks to all of you, I truly felt how meaningful it is to continue this brand.
Looking Ahead
Going forward, I plan to hold POP-UPs a few times a year—not only in Japan but also overseas.
I want to create more opportunities where people can see, touch, and experience KARAKU by me in person, beyond just the online shop.
I’m already looking forward to the next event and the wonderful new encounters it will bring💐
