Hello!!I'Makiko, the designer of KARAKU by me.
Today, I want to share a recent challenge I embarked on: going to Tokyo Disney Sea alone.
Now, you might be thinking, "Wait, what? Going to TDS alone?" I know it sounds a bit odd, but hear me out. For a few years now, I've had this idea of visiting there solo.
Don't get me wrong—going with friends is a blast. But I have this thing where I really value spontaneity. If I wake up one morning and feel like going somewhere, I want to go right then and there. Unfortunately, not many friends are up for such sudden plans, so I decided to take the plunge and go by myself.
I'm wearing aKARAKU by me headband over Mickey Mouse hat.LOL
And guess what? It was an absolute thrill!
Being on my own meant I could decide everything—what time to leave, what attractions to hit, and what delicious treats to indulge in. Surprisingly, I noticed quite a few people doing the same thing. Couples, families, and groups of friends were all enjoying their day, focused on their own fun rather than noticing me.
Taking photos was no problem either. The amazing TDS cast members were more than happy to help, and they sure know how to capture the perfect shot!
I faced zero issues being solo. I managed to ride all the attractions I had my heart set on and stayed until closing time, soaking up every magical moment. It was genuinely one of the best decisions I've made!
So, here's my takeaway: don't ever box yourself in with thoughts like "I can't do that" or "That's impossible for me." Challenges like this can really expand your horizons and enrich your life.
If there's something you've been itching to try but haven't had the courage to do yet, I encourage you to muster up a bit of bravery and go for it. You never know what amazing experiences are waiting for you!
